How to make your own glue

This home-made glue recipe is terrific: really strong.

It is also plastic free. That’s good!

Book binding strength, I use it as a paper craft glue. It’s waterproof too so you can use it to seal craft projects…like these coiled paper bowls.

You need just four ingredients: vinegar, gelatine, glycerine and water.

Work quickly with your stirring and have a paint brush on hand to apply the glue to your products.

If there is any left over, store it in an air tight container (glass jar) and re-warm it to re-use. Pictures follow. [Read more...]
