The Junk Wave makes our inaugural market appearance in May and I have been busy styling the stall to save table space and display some of our DIY craft kit contents in the styling.
I turned broken cardboard filing shelves into display stands. Some gold paint, shelve rearranging, divisions and paper mache for side strength worked wonders.

I also wanted a tall display stand that doubled as storage space for traveling to and from markets AND incorporated one of the crafts I sell in the DIY recycled craft kits.
Two Milo tins atop each other was the height I required. The top tin acts as the storage unit while traveling and what ever completed craft sits in there is later displayed atop the tin at the markets. I joined the tins together and did a first layer of mache with the sticky plastic labels off plastic milk bottles (fill bottle with hot tap water and it melts the glue sufficiently to peel off the label). I followed up with a layer of paper mache, painted it and covered it with one of the DIY crafts: flowers made from paper/toilet roll holders.
Easy Peasy. What do you think?
