The Junk Wave is a 3P (people, planet and profit) social enterprise: a businesses that trades for a specific social, environmental or cultural purpose. Our interest in recycling household junk as art and craft material is for social and environmental reasons: to KEEP OUR ENVIRONMENT SAFE.
A social enterprise is an organisation that 
applies business strategies to achieving philanthropic goals (loving and caring for others). Social Enterprises can be for profit but the profit gets redistributed either in the philanthropic work of the social enterprise or to other social needs: like keeping the environment and our children safe.
