As families turn their lights off across Cairns, a flash mob gather by candle light in a vigil to light the way home for Declan Crouch.
When: Saturday 26th March, 2011, during Earth Hour, 8.30 to 9.30 pm (arrive any time after 7.45pm).
Where: Radar Field opposite Machans Beach School, OR, in your home: light a candle and think positive thoughts for Declan’s return home.
What: This is a flash mob – bring your own candle and positive thoughts. There is no entertainment or organised activity – just a mob of people with candles and respect for the Crouch family.
Declan Crouch, 13, disappeared without a trace 17 days ago. Police have no clues to suspect foul play…or anything else.
No-one knows where Declan Crouch has gone. His family, good and decent people, remain hopeful that Declan is on an adventure and that he will return home when he realises the adventure has gone on for long enough.
During Earth Hour, in a positive mark of respect and to light the way home for Declan, Cairns citizens will gather at the “radar field” opposite Machans Beach school.
A peaceful and positive candlelight vigil, this symbolic beacon of light provides a torch of hope during the Earth Hour and Ruth Crouch’s darkest hour.
