So colourful, recycled drinking straws look ace in a group. They look dumb discarded on the ground and, even dumber, they do enormous damage in our river and ocean systems.
I pick drinking straws up wherever I see them, wash them in VERY hot water with vinegar (a natural disinfectant) and box them up to re-sell to early childhood centres. There’s thousands of them hanging around doing nothing!
