The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), is part of the Council of Australia Government’s (COAG) reform agenda for early childhood education and care. It is a key component of the Australian Government’s National Quality Agenda for early childhood education and care.
The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is made up of three elements:
These three elements make up the expected teaching and learning framework for every Australian child’s learning as they transition from birth through to school at age 5. By 2012 the EYLF will be connected to accreditation and licensing.
Come to a professional development session at My Other Mum Training College (Saturday morning, April 2, 2011) to discover more about Learning Outcomes 2 and 4 of the EYLF. More information here: EYLF Professional Development in Cairns
Please pass on to all early childhood educators and teachers that you know.
