The Junk Wave crafts and sells one of a kind handbags made from recycled food packaging. Our material comes from street and beach clean-ups and from friends and family who give to us. Every piece of plastic used in the bags is saved from entering landfill or ocean. Each bag represents a huge environmental saving.

Call for Australian Motorists to Stop Rubbishing Our Roads as the National Litter Index results are released

Keep Australia Beautiful Week kicks off today with environment group Keep Australia Beautiful targeting motorists and calling on people to stop rubbishing highways and roads.

The Junk Wave verses licensing or membership

Our legal advice was against licensing because what we put forward was too similar to a franchise. Right from the word go our solicitor advised franchising but that is not how I want to head. I revel in making the micro macro and empowering people at home to make a HUGE difference through our collective efforts.

I also celebrate difference and empowerment and I don’t want every The Junk Wave business doing things exactly as I do them……there could be better ways!
