Attend The Junk Wave workshops in Melbourne or pick up DIY Recycled Craft kits in Sydney.
We are on the growth path and, rather than license, have partnered with two brilliant women who are now The Junk Wave consultants.
Erica will hold regular workshops and Master-Classes in Melbourne and I couldn’t be happier 🙂 While I love to travel and train, I stress over my carbon foot print and what my travel does to the environment. This way, more people can get access to recycled craft learning and I can be appeased that I am not aiding planet demise. This is low craft miles at its best. I met Erica at a training I facilitated in Melbourne and we have been in discussions ever since. Visit her sites: AMAZING!
Jo does not come from a training background but she is great with people and absolutely child focused (I have known Jo since we were children and she is my best friend – a wholly ethical and wonderful woman). She loves recycling and was introduced to recycled craft on my trip to Sydney earlier in the year. Jo will stock The Junk Wave’s Recycled Craft Kits at her home and people can either pick them up or she can deliver substantial orders. Or, if people are willing to pay $7.00 postage per item, Jo will post to the Sydney area. Jo’s focus is early childhood: centers, birthday parties and Mum’s looking for green activities to do with their kids. That’s Jo is in the white, with me in the brown, at my wedding reception five years ago.
Websites and further information are coming for Melbourne and Sydney. For now though, please join me in a huge welcome to Erica and Jo.
PS: To make Erica really welcome, why not vote for her as “favourite blog” in the Ausmumpreneur Awards. Don’t forget to vote for me while you’re at it in the Favouite eco-friendly business category and also for the most wonderfully ethical and therapeutic set of cards for children I have ever seen: Roxanne Gately of Sydney producted these: I LOVE them. Vote for Roxy’s cards as Favourite Product. I did 🙂
