Reuse magazines and junk mail as multi-looped gift bows

Collect old magazines or junk mail for Smart Art and create gorgeous multi-looped gift bows.

Simple, simple, simple (school children do this), we made one from junk mail, one from a discarded cardboard office file separator and one from strips of plastic milk bottle. The junk mail multi-looped bow was by far the most effective but the milk bottle multi-looped gift bow elicited the most interest (difference is always interesting).

The “how to” sheet is here: Multi loop gift bows from magazine pages

If sufficient time is available during the Smart Art workshop in Cairns on April 9, I will demonstrate the craft so people can decorate the Easter or Mother’s Day crafts they will also be making.
